Chakra Girl and her gang of superhero yogi friends, "The Chakra Girlz," are working together to transform Planet MyAmi Vice into Planet MyAmi Nice. In December 2008, the Chakra Girlz battled the supermodels of Lincoln Road in front of the South Florida Art Center and in December 2009, the Girlz were part of a larger satellite exhibition called "Miami's Independent Thinkers" (www.MiamiThinkers.com). The warehouse is located in the Wynwood District at 222 NW 27th Street and the emphasis is multimedia and performance art between Dec. 3 and Dec. 6. Check out the Girlz battling the evil Femmebots on Sunday, Dec. 6. Doors open at 11 a.m. with an organic market and a yoga class, free massages, and other healthy faire to help art lovers get over their week-long hangover. Types of art to be featured: Digital art on canvas, video mash-ups, live yoga performances in costume. Main Artist: Clutch Deluxe, TheYummiest.com. Performance Artists: The Chakra Girlz: Arianne Oomm & Scott, Juliana & Michael, Annabelle Berrios, Angelique Sandas, Christy Nones, Emila Arenas, Alexandra Santos. Curator: Melanie Feliciano.

Feb. 21, 2010: The Weekly Buzz

Hello, this is Chakra Girl reporting LIVE from the Capitol of Power. It’s White Chakra Sunday, February 21, 2010 and this is The Weekly Buzz on the Third EyeWitness Newz. We sense it first, invest in it, flip it and you hear about it afterwards.

But first, let’s hear a word from our sponsor, Hostwire.com.

Red: In financial newz, the national unemployment rate is up to 10.6%, but self-employment and the online freelance community is robust and thriving. Read more about it more at BiscayneWriters.com.

Orange: In yoga newz, is spirituality linked to sexuality? Find out at MiamiYogi.com.

Yellow: In energy and power newz, forget solar power, apparently human energy is going to charge up your cell phone so you can continue texting and yacking free of carbon footprint guilt. Read more about it at EthicalMarkets.com.

Green: In literary newz, the Miami Writers are hosting a green St. Patty’s Day writing extravaganza at the Wallflower Gallery. Find out more at MiamiWriters.org.

Blue: In music newz, Lee McPherson plays a groovy bass riff called “Ides of February” at TheFemmebots.com.

Purple: In sci-fi newz, everything old is new again. Watch more at UrbanMermaidz.com.

White: In non-profit newz, a community organic garden just opened in North Miami. Find out more at MultiMediaDistrict.com.

This is Chakra Girl reporting for the Weekly Buzz on the Third Eye Witness Newz.

Remember that ignorance is expensive and keep matches and flashlights stocked up for climate change.

Amen. Namaste. Ciao.
